Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. I have thus far spoken of the original work which is the remote parent of the ensuing poems; and I now feel it necessary to say something of the Hero himself, of Abla his spouse, and of the land of his exploits.
