Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The Liturgy of the Holy Apostolic Church of Armenla has already been twice translated into English by English clergymeii first by the late Rev. R. W. Blackmore from a Russian translation made by Dolgoroucki Prince Joseph Arghouthiants, Armenian Archbishop in Russia; and secondly by the Rev. S. C. Malan, D.D., formerly Vicar of Broadwindsor, from the Armenian original printed at Constantinople by command of the Patriarch Paul of Adrianople; and each of these versions has passed through two editions. Owing, however, to many circumstances, I have been urged to prepare a Manual which should contain the Armenian original together with an English trans lation.
