Page, That the Tercentenary of the death of Shakespeare should be commemorated in a manner worthy of the veneration in which the memory of Shakespeare is held by the English-speaking peoples and by the world at large The delegates, representing the British Empire, the United States, and foreign countries, were constituted as a General Committee, and an Executive Committee was appointed, with Lord Plymouth as Chairman, and myself as Honorary Secretary.
