Jeremy Joosten engages his readers by creating narratives with animal and nature metaphors. The reader/listener cannot escape his call to existential reflection on life and relationships. Lucas Smith offers us poems where he explores space, syntax, and images leading his reader to a spiritual ascent. In the drama genre, he constructs his play based on the life of Pier Giorgio Frassati. He ends this collection bringing his readers to Mars, then back to Earth, in his sci-fi piece with a spiritual twist.
