Orange Finds His Place in the Rainbow is the first in a series of books designed to teach children about diversity and acceptance. The author shows that it is okay to be different and everyone has a place in this wonderful world we call our rainbow. Each character is a different color of the rainbow, with all the trials and tribulations that go along with that, and each finds his or her special place in the rainbow. This is the story of the new kid on the block who is not easily accepted. Eventually, he teaches the other children that anyone can be a hero and we all have a place in the rainbow.
