They observe vehicles drive into the first house, stay a few minutes, and drive out. They hear machinery in the barn at the second house, a car half hidden behind the structure. They watch a young woman water plants at the third house while her baby plays on the porch. Cav doesn't expect the investigation to become deadly, but deputies assigned to watch the buildings identify a cop-killer at one home and drug-making equipment at the barn. Cav teams up with both DEA and the FBI to take down a multi-state drug running ring.
