Restructuring of Library and Information Science Curriculum is a major issue of concern today. New technologies, especially information technology, is being introduced today. With the advent of new technology, including on-line information system, we have better means of monitoring information use and the ability to make use of it for management of information. Library and Information Science curriculum needs to be revised drastically to meet the changing requirements. The curricula of library schools must be revised to include greater amount of information technology. A national seminar on Restructuring of Library and Information Science Curriculum was held in Rajkot, Gujarat, during 14-16 December, 1989. The articles contained in this volume were presented during the said seminar.
