Classification of Books in the Library e-bog

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. Gradual growth to over volumes (april, 1915) has necessitated amplification. No changes, no erasures, were re quired on the books, catalogues, or other records; the addition of one or more letters proved to be a simple, rapid, cheap process. New subjects. Like Aeroplanes, Photo-plays, War of 1914 easily found their appropriate places. The expansion has been carried down' through class 302, and a few other subjects - as Botany, Architecture, Semitic and Ger manic Literatures, have been similarly treated. For these por tions the classification is ample in a general library of this size. We are printing a very limited edition of the classification as it now stands for our own convenience, and therefore need not apologize for not expanding it as a whole.
