Indexed here is Vol. IV., New Series The subject-index focusses the materials bearing on individuals, incidents, institutions, and reigns contained in the collections reported on by the Commission. Where materials have been published by Clubs and Societies the fact is indicated. The following are the owners of Scottish muniments upon which the Commission has reported, and the places of deposit of their collections. To facilitate reference to the Reports, the names of owners and places of deposit are of the year in which the Report on the collection was published. Changes of ownership and in the permanent place of deposit of the several collections are indicated in brackets after the original owner's name.
