Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. Jamaica lies about 72 degrees west longitude, and about 42 degrees north latitude. It has been said, East Jamaica is the center of the Universe. Like Rome, all roads lead to East Jamaica, and Jamaica Village is only about four miles distant. You can go anywhere from Jamaica. We are in the same latitude of the great city of Paris - the emporium of fashion and finance, and about half way between it and the Golden Gate. We can boast of the same latitude as the Mormon City of Ogden, on the Great Salt Lake, the seat of the Mormon, who claims Vermont as his birth place, and on the direct line from Boston to Montreal. While not a great Metropolis in the modern sense, it can boast of the best people on earth and hope for the highest degree of civilization and culture. If we h0pe to improve on the natural, we must get close to nature, and here we can do it to perfection.
