At 5 minutes past 1 p.m. Bawled down the red flag. At 45 minutes past 2 Colonel Clive came on board. At 55 minutes made the Salisbury's signal for a Lieutenant. At half past 3 p.m. Sent ashore two nine pounders with ammunition to Colonel Clive. The enemy continued firing some shot and a number Of fire arrows.
