Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. Among the descendants of Abel Fairbanks I fail to find any very marked peculiarities. I find no musical talent. In creed they are mostly Congregationalists. The various trades and occupations are fairly represented, and many of them are noted for their industrious, persevering habits, and I presume all are noted for their love of law and good order. The venera ble Sir Thaddeus is the only one of his generation that I know of, that is living to-day.
