Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. For a time the work was pushed with considerable vigor, but through too close application to business, which demanded atten tion, and extra hours given to genealogical research and compila tion the writer became overworked and forced to put aside his labor of love. At no time, however, has the task been wholly abandoned, correspondence has been kept up, and as promptly as responses arrived were noted in the manuscript.
