Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The members of the Morr Family convened in Trinity church, Ashland county, Ohio, July 18, 1881, forthe purpose of organizing a Reunion of the Family. It was called by Rev. William A. Shisler who was chosen President of the meeting. After a brief discussion upon the propriety of such an organization it was decided unanimously in the affirmative, and that the first reunion be held in Samuel D. To one and all, known or unknown, heartfelt thanks for courtesies received are herewith extended.

The early history of the Family is not as complete as desired. The author hoped that in his research for historical facts a fuller account of the Morrs who came from Germany could be given. In the absence of the necessary information it cannot be established from what section of that co
