Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The gathering of this genealogy and data relating to the earlier ancestors of the family, has occupied my thoughts for several years, and all my leisure time for the past two years. It gives me pleasure to believe that the long-continued labor and care necessary to complete this work will be appreciated by the descendants of the family, and I venture to hope that it may bring into better acquaintance the widely-spread branches of our ancestral tree.
