Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The author spent two years and a half in Upper Canada, and, in the course of that time, resided in various parts of the Province. He enjoyed numerous opportunities of inspecting its new settlements; so that all the statements, for the information of emigrants, contained in the fourteenth letter, are the result of personal observation.
