Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. Of full descriptive details of the two submarine structures (dumbuck and Langbank), and of their undisputed relics, I am enabled to give due prominence to their archaeo logical importance, as remains of what is virtually a new type among the early inhabited sites in Scotland.
