Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. About forty-five years ago, some genius conceiving the idea of combin ing common sense with law, succeeded in devising and introducing the code. By which the whole system of pleadings was simplified, and reduced to actions at law, and actions in equity, which so revolutionized the practice as to make it quite intelligible, at least to those learned in the law.
