The five attributes which follow are not a mere expansion of the Taioi'rros (schlichting); nor, on the other hand, are they indefinite additions to its meaning (lunemann, Bleck, De Wette, etc.) but are selected to characterize Him who is both a priest after the order of Melchizedek, and (beyond the type of Melchizedek) a high priest, the antitype of Aaron.
