History of the Seven Holy Founders of the Order of the Servants of Mary e-bog

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The following list comprises the names of the chief authors whom I have consulted whilst engaged in this work: Pietro da Todi, General of the Servants of Mary, the third successor of St. Philip. He entered the Order at fifteen years of age, about the year 1295. His Chronicle of the First Beginnings of the Order is the only document written by a contemporary of the Founders, and was compiled in 1317, seven years after the death of St. Alexis. It contains many interesting details, intermingled with considerations partly laudatory and partly mystical.
