Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. A public meeting was also held, at which an introductory discourse was delivered by the Theo logical Tutor, unfolding the principles on which the educational department of the College would be conducted. Nine students entered at the beginning of the first session. Of these, I believe that only Dr. Eustace Conder, of Leeds, the Rev. William Guest, formerly of Leeds and Gravesend, and the Rev. Henry John Heathcote, of Chester Road, near Birmingham, are now living. Two additional students were received in January.
