The masses will not read it because of its size. Only the preacher and teacher, and not all of them, will read it. Moore's Comprehensive History of the Disciples of Christ, of one volume, has 860 pages, and is therefore subject to the same objections. The demand is for a book not half so large as these, and yet sufficiently large to give a clear conception of this Resto ration movement.
