Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The Editor of the present volume has undertaken to make a selection from the voluminous sermons issued in the octave volumes in the year above mentioned. It was not a very easy task to choose from so many sermons only such as may prove of interest at the present time. The Editor, however.
