Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. It is to be hoped that a second volume, on the Juris prudence of the Greek City, may follow without much delay. Further instalments, though contemplated, are not yet in a fit state to be mentioned in this preface.
