Negro's Place in Nature e-bog

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. I propose in this communication to discuss the physical and mental charac ters of the Negro, with a view of deter mining not only his position in animated nature, but also the station he should occupy in the genus Homo. I shall nec essarily have to go over a wide field. And cannot hope to treat the subject in an exhaustive manner. I shall be amp ly satisfied if I succeed in directing the attention of my scientific friends to a study of this most important and hither to nearly neglected branch of study in the great science of Anthropology.
