Suicides among Farmers: A Study of Cotton Grower e-bog

The present work discusses the public policy of job-reservation in the public services under the Government of India, and is particularly focused on the Mandal Commission (The Backward Classes Commission, 1978-80), its report the governmental decisions and the social' and political implications flowing from them. The work then goes on to examine the major emerging trends. Finally it makes a few policy recommendations. The book contains the recommendations made by both the Kaka Kalelkar and the Mandal Backward Classes Commissions, which it is noped, would further enhance its utility
