This study finds that organizational factors such as the size, age, growth rate, pricing strategies and the geographical dispersion of the firm, collectively affect the franchising firm's decision to internationalize. However, the individual variables are different in significance and magnitude for the retailing, hotel and motel, and professional business service industries.
