International Encyclopaedia of Environmental Laws have occupied the centre: stage among all efforts towards global environmental protection and consecration. Recreating the anti environmental activities and any further depletion of natural resource base has been the corner-stone for future legislations. Legal bodies and law departments all over the world incorporated the study and implementation of environmental legislation among their agenda for faction. This Encyclopaedia of Environmental Laws in 15 Volumes has been compiled with a vision of helping the decision makers, NGOs, government bureaucrats, industrialists and all other s concerned with related activities. The fifteen volumes divided year wise from1933-1982 and then thematically like basic laws forests, wildlife, land and freshwater, marine water, air, toxic and hazardous material, nuclear and global commons give a complete reference to a reader, also providing the selective approach of locating the required law. The aim of preparing these volumes is to present a complete text dealing with environmental laws at global level. The present exercise of defining the basic contours and substance of environmental law is holistic in nature and probably it is first of its kind.
