The use of the tables is so simple that an explanation hardly seems necessary, yet a few words may not be out of place. The arrangement (as near in centre of the table as is possible), of the column of rates of investment facilitates reference. The various bonds considered head the columns, and the time they have to run is seen in the general heading of each page-two pages being required for each year the bond has tc run.
