Imperial Valley and the Salton Sink e-bog

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. Copies of the paper were sent to all of those still living who had taken any important part in the engineering, financial and development sides of the Colorado Desert and Yuma Valley reclamations, and to all of those who probably might have had peculiar opportunities to know the real facts of the various important events, requesting comments and criticisms. Expressions of regret that the' paper had appeared in a publication which is practically unavailable to the general public were so general it was finally decided to order a few hundred reprints and bind them together with some additional matter of scientific but popular interest concerning the region. In this way the present volume resulted.
