Educational Psychology is concerned with two cardinal problems, namely, the construction of good teaching procedures and the measurement and evaluation of effects of teaching in an objective manner. h explores and explains the psychology of pnpiL his pattern of responses, his hereditary nature and the impact of their forces in his learning and development. Educational psychology draws heavily from the relevant contributions from other forces such as educational biology, educational sociology, social psychology, development psychology, anthropology and pshchology. The present work identifies a number of major issues and combines empirical materia] with theoretical insight and discuss the actual position of Statistics, Education and Psychology. Thus, the present work is divided into four volumes viz.: Statistics in Psychology and Education; Educational Psychology: An Introduction; Teaching, Learning and Human Behaviour; and Educational Psychology of Children, Youth and Adult. All the four volumes cover diverse aspects of the subject and discuss complexity of problems faced by students and teachers. This is a multi-disciplinary sod multi-dimensional investigation into various aspects of the pressing demand of the subject.
