To human view, it appears, that consistently with the demands of strict justice, Jesus Christ should have exalted his humanity in the eyes of mortals, - the more so, as it was incapable of appropriating that glory, which would have reverted in its fulness to his divinity. But widely different are the views of God, from those of men!
