Few men, it is confidently affirmed, have penetrated deeper into the very heart of this great subject; and a more comprehensive, able and practical discussion of the subject will not be found.<br><br>A chief excellence of this treatise is its scripturalness. Dr. Monod interrogated the Bible as to the question of Woman's proper Mission and Life; and he found its light, here as elsewhere, clear and sufficient.
