Mod cm psychology talks rather vaguely of the subcon scious mind and of the subliminal self, but this really explains nothing. We do not advance toward the understanding of a mystery simply by applying to it a new name. What is that thing called the subcon scious, or the subliminal, and what are its powers and its limitations? Unless science can satisfactorily answer such questions it has done little indeed toward solving these psychological puzzles.
