Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The delay since that long period in the preparation of a fifth edition is attributable, mainly, to the fact that the Author's time was almost entirely devoted to his professional occupations, consequently he was Unable to give that care and attention to the subject of 'the Sailing Boat' which a new edition seemed to require.
