When Little Caterpillar first emerges, she has an insatiable appetite for the letters in the wind. Soon, letters are not enough. She eats all the small words she can find. The more she eats, the hungrier she becomes; the hungrier she becomes, the more she eats. What will happen when she is big enough to eat any word she comes upon?
