Eve has a dilemma. How can she be loyal to her long-time friend, Nora, and at the same time welcome her new neighbor, Caroline, into their established social circle? Nora simply does not like Caroline and wants to keep her out. Eve wants to include Caroline, but she cant stand up to Nora. Eve does nothing to stop Noras teasing until her conscience cannot allow her to go on without doing what is right.
